Emma has gone to the Bridge

Postby emmas_mom » Tue Jan 22, 2019 10:07 pm

Another of the ODO original canine crew has left for the Bridge. My Emma, who remained part of my life even though an exhaustive and intense custody dispute gave her to my ex (and our other dog, Charley, to me), passed away at age 14 this afternoon. You can read about her on my blog: https://mylifewiththecritters.blogspot. ... idge.html

Run free, Emma. I will always be "Emma's mom".
Mom to Maggie. Ever remembering Sadie, Charley, Caleb, Belle, Oliver, Shiloh, Eddie, Mitzi, Allie and Emma.

I'm so sorry, Jean. Sending you lots of love. What a happy, super girl she was—reading about her brought a big smile to my face! We will all miss her so.

Oh man, I’m so sorry :-( What a loving tribute to her, and she sounds like she had a great life. I’m impressed that you and your ex were able work things out so that everything was done for the best for the dogs. I hope you are doing ok. Hugs.

A beautiful tribute for a wonderful girl. I am sorry for your loss, but so glad you got to be a part of her life despite relationship circumstances. She was so very special.
