YAY! Ronan!

Postby 2dogpack » Thu Oct 16, 2014 12:50 pm

I'm making progress. And, given Max's Mommy's post on door bolting, timely?

Ronan loves to be uber enthusiastic when people come to the door. He'll also go OUT the door if you're not careful.

I've decided that it doesn't matter if someone comes to the door or we leave, Ronan MUST go sit 5 ft from the door.

Today, we had a delivery. He runs to the door, barking. I tell him "Door!" and sure enough, after I repeat it and invade his space, he backs up, sits... and wait for it...

he STAYED until I opened the door, got the package from the carrier, opened the door, and came back in. In fact, when I came back in, he was STILL sitting.

Oh emm gee!

Now, if I can get Chicken Dog to stop freaking out over the zombies in the washing machine, we'll be doing great!

Fabulous!

And washing machine zombies are pretty freaky. It's why I only do laundry twice a month if I can help it.
