AKC Farm Dog Certified test

Postby Trademarkbark » Sat Apr 14, 2018 4:00 pm

If you’re looking for a fun title to add, check out the new AKC Farm Dog Certified (FDC) test. It’s like a CGC on a farm, with elements of a temperament test thrown in (unusual surfaces). Grytz and OE recently passed the two required tests to earn their titles and we had a lot of fun.

"Doozy" FDC CGC TKN

That sounds fun! We are working toward the CGC (no jumping on people, little Miss!) and tricks. I think we can get the Novice tricks title now. I just need to get my boss to sit still long enough test me. :)

I so want to do this with Dax, I'm pretty sure he would pass. Sadly he's not eligible. I wish AKC would give a performance registration option that doesn't require neutering.

No, but they have to be registered with AKC in one way or another. For a PAL or Canine Partners, they can't be intact.
