My new dog just went through heart (PDA plug) surgery at Tufts, so I am watching this topic as well since she is starting off compromised and we make our own food. I think we have to look at what ingredients are being replaced by grains and the effect of them. Tufts had no problem with the diet we currently feed her so far. (mostly meats, organ, bone, etc). I know Dr Coger is a fan of Dr Dodds too, as am I !
