I don't think it makes much difference. I've known for weeks she won't give me my money back ever. I should post our private messages here for you all to read about how I am such a "disappointing person" and she doesn't know when our relationship got so bad. Clearly she's in denial. I've made it clear I was unhappy and even told her I couldn't come back to her for another pup nor recommend her to anyone else. I think that's when our relationship got bad. Oh well. She does not know enough about hip dysplasia to be breeding to be honest. Her "facts" are wrong and her vet is wrong. She has a dog so lame she has muscle atrophy but can't do X-rays because the dog is pregnant. How much do you want to bet the puppy buyers will never hear about mom being dead lame her whole pregnancy and longer?
But what can I do? A guy that owns another of her dogs nearby told me I should sue her and make sure she can never send another dog to the US. Lol. He was so mad when I told him what she said. But I'm pretty sure my only option would be international arbitration. Haha! Not happening, obviously. Lol. The reality is that the amount she owes me covers so little of what I've paid out that I just don't care. It really isn't even that much money. It would help of course, but the fight isn't worth it. The contract is only for half his purchase price unless I return him to her for a full refund (and I pay shipping which would mean I end up with less than half his purchase price and no dog...). She just made me an enemy and lost business. I guess she thinks she will always have buyers for her pups, so she can afford to make me mad. Maybe she will. My only other leverage is to go public on the vizsla boards but not sure I will ever do that. Maybe if his OFA results turn out poor and she still refuses. I think a truly quality breeder wouldn't even ask me to do that though. The ones I have asked have said if a puppy buyer went through what we have they would be refunding all of my money because I am a person they want to own their puppies. That's the other thing that gets me. She has said many times to me that she worries about the pups she sells and how they fare after leaving her. She has complained about other buyers and their breeding choices and care. And here I am neutering my way too tall, lame dog and she tells me he still could have been a show dog. I am taking him to rehab and acupuncture and she says I am doing optional things that I shouldn't be paying for and therefore running up my vet bills. And that if my vet is prescribing supplements and medications for his non-existent HD that I am being ripped off. What the heck? She should be so happy this dog landed in my house. He's getting more than most dogs and actually more than I give myself! She only says all I am doing is wrong because she doesn't want to admit she bred a subpar puppy and wants to hang on to all her money.
