Please let it be a UTI.....

Postby SherriA » Thu Sep 10, 2015 12:00 pm

Just what I need right before heading out of town for a week! Third day in a row that Henry's walker has found a puddle when she arrived despite me making sure that he pee'd when he went out in the morning. Off to the vet we go tomorrow!

Fingers crossed this is a simple UTI, no need for anything more than abx. I'm not ready to deal with more serious kidney issues.

Has it been freakishly hot and humid there, too? Maybe he's just drinking too much water.

It cooled off considerably today and he still had an accident. Then tonight I took him out and 20 minutes later he had to go out again so I'm guessing he's not emptying, I assume because it hurts

:( I hope you can get to the bottom of it and have it be no big deal.

Looks like it's just a UTI (pending urinalysis, of course), so he's got some abx and we'll hope that's the end of that! Thanks goodness!

As good news as you could get and glad it was something straightforward.
