It's been a year

Postby Kathleen » Sun Feb 24, 2013 6:36 am

We found Echo's lump a year ago this week. Surgery was the beginning of March, and knocking on wood so far so good. He is having regular blood work and the last one came back the best yet.
Echo has a great quality of life and is eating and playing with his toys as usual. He takes more naps, sleeps in more then he used to and has trouble seeing in the dark, but over all couldn't be happier. Well he would have liked it if Groovy had shared the cube of butter with him.
Thank you Connie for sharing your experiences. It helped so much in choosing a path to take with Echo.

I am thrilled the year has gone so well. I hope the next one does, too!

Wow, a year already! I'm do glad it has been a good one. Give Echo a pat of butter from me; I'm sure he'd like it more than a pat on the head. :D

Edited for autoerrors. :/

Wow, I'm so happy you're at this milestone!

I will always be a believer in letting the body do what it can, and helping it with diet and supplements. I'm interested to see that integrated more and more into cancer treatments these days, for animals and people alike. Echo is really benefitting from that, which is wonderful. I hope you two continue to kick butt for more years!
