Tessa's getting spayed Tuesday

Postby Brenda » Mon May 09, 2005 3:06 pm

Yup. Hard to believe she's six months already! Time flies! At least she already has her microchip, etc., so this time it's JUST the spay - which is upwards of $200 here... sigh.

At least she comes home tomorrow night and hopefully by Friday will forget anything ever happened.

Hopefully all will go well and she'll come through with flying colors.

Here she is now. Does she look worried??? ROFL!!!

They recover quickly enough, from a spay! Within days, it seemed, she wasn't even thinking about the surgery anymore!

Well, she came through with flying colors and was waking up around nooon (it's almost 1:00 here). She'll be coming home in another hour or so once they're sure she's fully awakened and thrown off the effects of the anaesthetic.

Thanks for all your good wishes

Well, Tessa's home and fine. She's snoozing after desperately racing to the litter box for a pee! The other two are maniacs today - it finally stopped raining! We have 1/2 pill for pain tomorrow as needed so we'll see how it goes. She'll probably sleep the rest of today and tonight.
