Roscoe Napping

It's what he does most of the time these days, with intermittent bursts of energy. But he seems happy, just not as willing to get up for just anything. It's a pretty big honor to have Roscoe greet you at the door now.

It really does.

I crack up every time he wags just the tip of his tail without opening his eyes in response to hearing his name. Wants to acknowledge you but doesn't want to stop napping.

We say he will be 13 in March. Best guess is he was about 2 when he was found as a stray 11 years ago.
