Yankee, if you want to watch terrier racing, see if there's an event in your area! It's so much fun even if you don't have a dog entered.
Aug 10-11, 2013 in Hebron is the next event scheduled for Connecticut, and racing happens first thing in the morning, so you'd want to be there at around 8 am or so. Puppies run first, and that's always the most fun!
Judy, he was quite put out over the whole thing, it was hilarious.
On Sunday he could have won his race if it hadn't been for a tiny moment of hesitation at that very same hurdle, as if he couldn't make up his mind whether he should jump or not. He's fine!
Since he was off his usual routine he didn't sleep through the night when we were on our trip and asked to go outside a couple times during the night. never a false alarm though, good boy.
On Monday we were out jeeping until early afternoon, and then he slept pretty much all of the 500 mile trip home, and then about 10 hours through the night.
