Meet Max

Postby lgpoopsie » Sun Jan 27, 2013 5:39 pm

This is our boy, Max. We adopted him from a rescue last month - December 22 to be exact - and he's finally settling in. We've had some issues with house training and separation anxiety but he's doing much better.

Hi Brandi! It's good to "see" you again with your new addition. :) I'm sorry to hear of China's passing, though. Glad to have you back!

Thanks for the comments, everyone.

I'm not sure if Max has any Sharpei in him or not. He looks an awful lot like China in some ways and we were pretty sure she had some.

And thanks for the condolences regarding China. I really appreciate them.

Welcome Back, Brandi! I was so sorry to read about China, she was one of the dogs I had "known" online the longest.

Max is very cute though, and I'm glad he's settling in. There sure is a similarity in those looks!

Thanks, Sabine, it's nice to be remembered. :) I was sure sad to hear that Quigley had passed on. He was one of my online favorites.

Funny thing about Max looking so much like China - in the pictures the rescue posted online he didn't look much like her at all. When we finally met him in person we were a little stunned at how similar they are.

I, too, remember China and am sorry to learn of her passing. Before reading about Max' resembling China, I was thinking the same thing.
