Lagotto? No guesses on Curly Sue's breed? She came a long, long way to Minnesota. DEFINITELY not a common breed.
There was also a petite woman there today with a Newf and a Saint Bernard. Don't see Saints that often!
And, not a rare "breed" but an uncommon mix, I have a Vizsla/Puli pup in class right now. She's so freaking adorable. and SO ON IT. I love her, and her owner too! The breeder had a 'whoopsie' breeding, but seemed to own up to it and did everything 'right' in terms of raising the pups - env enrichment, sound DS, etc etc - despite them not being of much "value" to his kennel/name.
Dr McDaniel?, regional variance strikes again. My vet breeds and shows Glens, I don't think of them as being a rare breed since I see them all the time. Fun little critters.
A PWD was on our short list of breeds because DH's friend had one. So smart and trainable but super goofy. Not quite rare, but not very common around here, got to hang with a Portuguese Water Dog this evening. a ridiculous bouncy silly puppy.
