Jack goes swimming!

Postby PaulaS » Thu Jun 07, 2007 4:07 pm

For all the Jack fans, you know who you are...

He went swimming for the first time Sunday. He was having one of those "scared-sad" kinda Jack days. You know, where he wanted to hide in the bathroom? Poor kid! So I took him to the park and we discovered a little lake. After much investigation, he hopped right in. I think he might need some more lessons, though. There was an awful lot of splashing!

I cracked up at those pics...it looks so much like when Pepper was learning to swim. All front paws and no back leg action! Don't worry Jack, a few more trips to that little lake and your back feet will find their rhythm. He looks so cute in the water! What a nice adventure for him on a 'down' day!

By the way, "Wet Jack" is just as adorable as "Dry Jack." Maybe even cuter!

AAWWWWW!!! Jackie boy, you gotta remember your butt will float, don't keep it so low in the water, this will eliminate the splashing and you will swim so much faster.

He still takes my heart, no matter what he's doing!!

Thanks Paula!!

Awoooo! That is CUTE! OMG. 3rd one down--"MAMA I LIKE it but I can't!" What a sweetie, I just LOVE him. I love how you had the leash for a while and then let him go. Hahahaha!

So adorable!!!! That's how Beamish used to swim - lots and lots of splashing. I always thought it was too cute.

What a lucky boy to get one on one mom time!

lol Good boy, Jack! He looks proud of himself in that last one. "Yep, I went swimmin' in that lake right there."

That totally reminded me of Roscoe swimming. He never did figure it out (and sinks like a rock). But he really likes swimming with a lifejacket. :)

lol lol That's just great!! I actually had to laugh out loud - his first experience looks a lot like Nick's - lots of splashing and stuff. How great is that??? I think he looks adorable in there, and so very proud of himself afterwards. I'm so glad you got pics. ;) Thanks for giving me my much-needed Jack fix this morning!

I LOVE the third picture.

How nice for him that you were able to make his sad day better.

Well, that's how it all starts I guess! He looks like he's having a great time and I'm sure it cheered him up on his down day. He is so cute! I just love him
