Postby Moemer » Thu Dec 06, 2012 11:08 am

Help! a transport just fell through for Dec 15 to transport a Dobie from Buffalo NY to Lancaster PA. The adopter doesn't drive and was relying on her roommate to drive.
Any leads appreciated!
thanks!

I don't have any leads, but I couldn't help giggle at the subject line - for a moment I thought you were wanting to transport a buffalo!!!

there are a couple of transport networking pages on Fb, some show-oriented and some rescue-oriented. check with local competition groups too, people are ramping up travel arrangements getting dogs to Florida for Eukanuba and the cluster and may know someone who could bring him along.

Thanks, I'll take a look at FB pages! The dog is big, but not quite as big as a buffalo...

The other possibility is the Pilots and Paws network (I don't know my American geography, so perhaps it isn't that far to warrant a flight - but definitely worth a try if it is. Here's their website: http://pilotsnpaws.org/

They are everywhere, and super great people.
