The other End of the Leash

Postby Sabine » Wed Jun 14, 2006 12:35 pm

I know several people have read this book already, anyone interested in discussing it? If so I'll take it on our road trip with me to read it again so I'm prepared.

I read it quite a while ago and it's buried somewhere. I loved the book and will try to find it in the next few days and catch up. I'm currently reading "Animals in Translation" (Grandin) and "Dogs" (Coppinger). I keep one book at home and one in the office.

Have a very good trip.

What's Quigley going to read?

I would like to discuss it, but I'll need to re-read it, too. Right now I'm reading "Bones Would Rain From the Sky", so it'll have to wait, though.

I'd like to discuss either TOEOTL or Animals in Translation.

Oooh "Dogs" is another book I absolutely love.

Quigley says he's going to read animal tracks on our hikes and wants to play in the creek at the back of my in-law's property.

I need to reread TOEOTL and read Animals in Translation for the first time...but would love to discuss either one or both!

I must have loaned out my copy of TOEOTL because it's not with my other dogs books so I will continue with Dogs in Translation.

I'm new to the forum--I loved The Other End of the Leash and have recommended it often. I'm currently reading Bones Would Rain from the Sky, and I'm really enjoying it. Many of the themes are the same: discovering ways of "hearing"
