I stopped in at my vet clinic tonight to get more Glycoflex for Rudy, and I gave a copy to the clinic -- several of the techs said that they would buy copies, and one of the vets was out at the counter and she was really excited to see the book.
She is going to show it to her husband, who also is a vet (in another practice), and she said that she hopes she sees Sander's Book in bookstores someday. She said she has told a lot of her clients about Sander, not just about how long he lived with cancer, but also about his death and how ready he was for it and what a difference that made.
They all were really impressed with the appearance of the book -- and of course everyone said 'awwwww' at all the photos of Sander.
The post office clerks know me now and are watching the mailings with great interest.
I haven't checked the doggie bakery to see if it's selling, I will do that this weekend.
My co-workers are buying copies, which is really nice of them because not all of them are dog people.
So far, so good! Yay for Sander's Book!
