Funny Roscoe

Postby Jen » Sun Apr 12, 2015 11:41 am

Roscoe was *sound* asleep earlier, not even twitching at the sound of his name or the crank of a can opener. I put a chunk of roast pork right in front of his nose because I had given Bella one, and I have to be scrupulously fair even if the other dog has no idea what's going on. ;)

No response, still snoozing. But then several seconds later, his feet start twitching like he's having a dream. Then his whole body starts twitching. Then his nose starts sniffing. Still sound asleep as far as I can see. All of a sudden, he leaps up, gulps the pork bit down, looks around like he's not sure where he is, sees me and comes over for petting.

I think he had a dream that he was chasing a pig. rofl

Ha, that's so funny. I do that to Gringo all the time. He usually needs a few seconds but then he'll lift his head and gulp down the food before his eyes have even opened all the way.

Too funny. And I am the same in regard to scrupulous fairness.
