I had to convert the file to a jpg. Here's the photo of one of the pups in the litter that Yankee's pup will be from.
Yankee, this pup is adorable!

Thanks Judy.

Sherri - I'm still fighting for Phil, but my wife is coming up with a new name daily. We'll see.

Amanda - I don't know when they were born. I was told they'd be ready to go around January 10th when they would be 8 or 9 weeks old. I'm guessing the puppy above was about 41/2 weeks old.

How exciting. I'm as usual late to this, but was reading the first "breeders" response and thinking don't walk run away from this guy, so glad to hear it worked out.

Well, we're making progress. The breeder is calling today to give us a time to pick up the puppy on the 10th. She said (of course) that every one is beautiful, and that we should have our pick of three. She said she'd send a picture of the litter today, and that she'd be fine with our going there this Saturday to see the litter! If it's a file like last time, Judy get ready to post!!

Here are 2 more pictures that Yankee asked me to convert. I'm sure he'll be along soon to give us more details.

Yankee, are you prepared for all that hair?! :sgrin:

Judy - thanks for posting. I know my wife doesn't want more hair!
The first one looks like Chewbacca. As I said above, I think we have our choice of two or three of the 12 in the litter. Whether these are the two or three we get to pick from, I don't know. We go for a look-see this Saturday and to pick up the following weekend.

She may not want more hair, but a day of snuffling into golden puppy fur and she'll probably forget.

What a great day! WE got to visit with the puppies for more than an hour. Honestly, every puppy was cuter than the next. I'm not concerned at all with which ever one we get. The breeder indicated she had specific pups in mind for us based upon temperament, and that choice also has something to do with the order of when you gave your deposit. She indicated again that we would have 2 or 3 puppies to choose from. They're cuter in person than in pictures. I don't understand what is going on with my computer that i'm not able to open or post them.
It took us three and a half hours to get home because of the snow/ice storm.

Oh, what a lousy trip home! Were you over on my side of the state?

I'm so glad you like the puppies and that you'll have several choices. BTW, I'm still voting for Phil :)

I meant to say I think everyone but my wife loves Phil. She says I can name it Phil - but it sounds like there's an underlying threat there. Right now she's pushing for Eli or Quincy - Q, quin, quince, quince. :(

Oh wow, I've heard of Cloverdale. You're going to get a wonderful dog, if the positive buzz I've heard about her is true (and I'm sure it is).

Eli isn't bad, but isn't as much fun as Phil or Harry :p

Here are the pictures that Yankee took today for more cuteness overload. :) I don't know why they are a little large and require some minor scrolling. I didn't want to reduce the pixels down any further. Yankee, they are all precious. I'm glad you got to see them and that you made it back home safely. :)

Well, if you wind up going with Quincy Phillip (my dogs all have middle names), I know a golden named Quincy who has the most fabulous temperament that you could ever want. But Phil is just so fun!

I wonder I he did have a middle name, and we each called him by separate names, if it would confuse him. Anyone heard of that?

My dogs have all had nicknames and respond to both so I don't see why not! :)

Mine all have nicknames and respond to them all! You can each call him something different.

It reminds me if my grandpa's name. Great grandad wanted William and great grandma wanted Hugh. She said, "You can name him whatever you want, but I'm going to call him Hugh." And that's exactly what happened. :D
