Let's do it then! I'll have people just PM me again instead of doing elfster. I'll check elfster and last year's records for previous matchups to avoid and then do a random sort in Excel. Elfster gets weird when you try to do something annual with different people and some people remember what email they used to sign up and others use a new one.

Whichever works best for you Jen - thanks for volunteering again! :) Do you want to start a separate sign-up thread?

If a big swap is out of reach for most people this year, would we be interested in scaling it down to a "treat and toy swap" where the limit is one treat and one toy, which would be cheaper to buy and ship?

I'm up for either one. Although I'm not sure if the shipping cost makes a difference with the flat-rate boxes...

We have a very small turnout so far. :( I guess it'll be a small exchange? Or skip a year?

I'll do it one of these years, but my budget says no to this year. Actually, my budget says I'll be making jam for my whole family instead of buying them presents... eek! (especially after what this month has looked like! AHH!)

I love the ODO exchanges, but Oliver's health has been pretty fragile lately and honestly, I'm afraid to jinx things by planning anything more than a week or two into the future. If I don't participate, he'll be fine and I'll be bummed to miss out, but if something were to happen to him between now and then, the swap would just be salt in a wound, you know?

I'm in and I'll vouch for the other Jack Russell folks, who haven't been on here for a year, if they want to do it. And I'd like to do more than a treat and a toy. I LIKE shopping for dogs!

Send me the info listed on the 2013 Holiday Gift Swap thread, and I'll add you to the list. :)

Sabine will have to make the decision re: other members.

If they want to participate, I vouch for Jill Marie, Desi, and Lisa, since I know them in person. :)
