Farewell Mike

Postby connie » Fri Jun 28, 2013 4:02 pm

I haven't been around ODO much, and probably most of you know this already from FB.

We said goodbye to Mike today. The ehrlichia kicked his butt, finally, but Mike went out a winner. He was two days short of his 14th birthday, and he had been with me for 4 1/2 years.

I will miss him every day I live.

I am so very, very sorry for your loss, Connie. Mike was lucky to have found you, and to live out the last years of his life getting the special care he needed, and so much love.

Oh Connie, I'm so very sorry. I thought he was getting better :(

He had such wonderful years with you. I'm so very glad I got to know him through ODO. He was a special boy.

Sweet dreams, Mike. You'll be missed.

I wish I could have met him. What a sweetie pie he was. I'm sure he's still toddling around behind you right now, it's just that you can't see him. Watch the other dogs, because they can!

Connie, I'm very sorry for your loss. I have no doubt that Mike would not have had these last 4+ years if it wasn't for the love and care that you gave him.

I saw this. I'm so sorry Connie. I'm sure the last 4 years were the best 4 years for him. Rest well Mikey and play with the Hooligans waiting.

Run Free Mike....thanks for keeping an eye on connie while you were here....

I'm so sorry seems so inadequate.... TBD suck. I'm so glad that you two were able to keep him with you for as long as you did.

Connie, I am so very sorry - not only for your loss of Mike, but so many losses in such a short time. Mike had a great time and great care for his senior years; I'm so glad we got to know him.
