Re: Miracles, handling, better training?

Sabine, I do remember about Quigley and perhaps he and KaeJae had words today and KaeJae decided not to "fight the fight". Now, he wasn't standing for them, he was being held, but not in a death grip and while he was annoyed, he wasn't totally freaked out and as soon as they were done, he inhaled so...

Miracles, handling, better training?

I am not sure which one it was, but I am so very proud of KaeJae this morning. I took everyone to a groomer that refers clients to me for nail trims. Typically, I have to take the Monster to the vet after giving him some magic pills, then he has to get wrapped in a towel, muzzled and then after urin...

Re: More about DE, worms, and how I can overreact sometimes

Perhaps a day at the spa with a hot oil treatment? LOL....Do you think if you get all the DE washed out and do a good condition, that will straighten things out? Do you think she needs more fat in her diet?

Re: Worms!

I buy DE at my local farm and feed...it's so dirt cheap. Nana would be all over the pics of the wormy poop for sure! LOL The only worm I had no success with DE killing off was Whipworms, which Bandit got one time. So, maybe if you do a month of it, might want to test the stool after that to make sur...

Re: joint supplement

I have the girls on Agility and Katie, who I have had since October, who has bad knees and bad hips at the age of just a year and a couple of months is already more agile and can jump into her bed now. When I got her in October, all she could do was crawl up into her bed. I gave it to my Gina as wel...

Very heartwarming story and I think June landed in the right place after starting out as an abused dog.

Re: here we go, let the puppy questions begin!

My two cents on feeding in crates. In my puppy classes, I have people feed the pups in a variety of ways so that they do not develop resource guarding issues. If pup always eats in crate, he may or may not become protective of that spot. I have clients hand feed some meals, feed kibble out of the Ko...

The expens did not have tops on them and I don't see how a top would stop them from climbing it. What height do you want to get?

Amanda, Gina's eye vet has Frenchies and I bet if she can't take the dog, would know someone with experience. Want to pm me the info and I will give her a call? http://www.gvsvet.com/gvsDoctorsList_Pet.aspx?t=petcontent_VetOphthalmology Dr. Andrew, as you can see from her pic, is a Frenchie enthusia...

Re: P-d off Bitch...

In my puppy classes I have puppies use displacement behaviors all the time....when things get wound up, one will stop and scratch, sometimes squat and tinkle, sometimes turn and sniff it's hiney.....anything to break up the moment and then restart again. I bet that's what little Miss Marky was doing...

KaeJae marks incessently when he feels anxious, wound up, nervous, etc. So, she probably felt a bit on edge and decided to mark, that's my guess.

Probiotics and an acid reducer to see if that helps. My Gina ate so much better when she was on an acid reducer.

You won't her me suggesting an expen for short term confinement when you are not home to supervise. At our rescue, we had two puppies climb to the top of a 48 incher, only to fall and suffer head trauma. I suggest my clients build a short term confinement area that the puppy cannot climb out of and ...

Yappy Barkday, Dax! What did he finally top out at measurements and weight wise? He looks so tiny! Also, I love his "Brillo Pad" look and just want to scruff his hair and smooch him. I think you have the kind of JRT that others can have if they do all the right things, get a quality breeder so that ...
