I am confused. I'm used to seeing Pepper and Abby and a little beagle. And I'm used to seeing your dogs in hot weather swimming pool pics.

[quote=CatStamm]I'm thinking a homecooked diet is going to be best for your pup :( What tests have been done to get a diagnosis? What do the results of the full blood panel show? Oliver has obviously aquired a taste for fine knitted items. Maybe he's wishing for a handknit dog bed from mama this Christmas? Too cute.

Re: Speaking of Cesar...

Well I think it's easy enough to show that positive punishment works to suppress behavior, but why rely so heavily on it when there are much more fun and pleasant ways to train?

Glad you found something to work for you!
I think I'll see if I can find some locally for Sammy. We don't have the salt problem, but typical boots for the cold never fit properly over his dewclaws. I bet those provide at least a bit of protection from the cold.

Re: home cooking for Sammy (long)

<t>Hmm that link makes me wonder if Sammy has SIBO. He was given a course of Flagyl at the beginning of all this and it didn't help, but from what those articles say much longer therapy would have been necessary. <br/> His bloodwork showed low protein but other than that it was normal- the tests for...
