Re: 5# chihuahua rescue and bones

Gah... my mom always says there's no such thing as a free dog! He's probably about 5 years old. Thanks for the advice. I knew cleaning was probably going to be the answer, even if I did not want to hear it... :)

avatar settings...

I've not been here in a long time, and notice my avatar is gone. I tried to replace it and got this error (loosely quoted) "Avatar images must be no smaller than 80 pixels by 80 pixels, but cannot be larger than 80 pixels by 80 pixels." basically saying that if the image is not EXACTLY 80x80, it wil...

Re: 5# chihuahua rescue and bones

Thanks everyone, I'm mostly looking to the wings as a means to clean up his gross little mouth. I prefer NOT to use things like dental chews, and would love to avoid having his teeth cleaned. He needs to be neutered, but the cheap neuter place does not do teeth, and I hate to either pay the full cos...

5# chihuahua rescue and bones

Hi, it's me! Our Zoo has grown and changed some since I was last here. The latest addition is a 5# chihuahua boy named Paco that I found last week. He was all wormy, so I took him to Petsmart vet on Sunday for Strongit-T (no other Sunday vet options, but I will NEVER do that again, ) We ...

<t>Ok, well that explains it then, with her mix! At first I thought she had flea dirt on her, but couldn't figure that one out, because she didn't have any fleas!! Then I realized it was just the fur on the freckles that was changing!<br/> <br/> We also think that Roxie is a very good-looking dog, b...

<t>Roxie is about 6 months now, boxer/am. bulldog mix. Re: Oats, what type?

If you boil then soak them overnight, you basically just have to reheat them. So for the dogs, you would not really have to do any more cooking, unless you want them warmed.

Dry steel cuts would not be very digestible to a dog...

Re: calories in chicken (with bone)

<t>For boneless: the usable portion (which from a human nutrition perspective is meat and skin) of a whole bird is about 60% by weight, so a 2.5# bird would yield you approximately 1.25-1.5# of meat. So you would need 1.25-1.5# of breast meat to equal the meat from a whole 2.5# bird.<br/> <br/> For ...

Can somebody give me an approximate caloric content of chicken with the skin and bone? We usually use whole birds, but sometimes just the leg quarters, if it matters.

<t>The Stoneyfield Farms yogurts actually have a better variety of 'active cultures' than the new-fangled activia-type yogurts, plus inulin, a type of fiber, and are available in plain: low fat, no fat, full fat, etc. They are organic, or at least natural, so no artificial what-nots.
