Re: Was this a seizure?

I could write for hours about my dog, and her transient ischemic attacks (TIA), or the dog equivalent of a TIA. I had a TIA in 2012, so I am familiar with a TIA. I believe my dog had 3 or 4. the first time, I took her to a specialty clinic in Houston (https://www.gcvs.com/) and did a complete Neurol...

Re: Max is fading and I don't know how to handle it.

Ashley, I realize your dog has multiple medical issues, so I apologize in advance if my comments are redundant, or obvious. Have you talked to your Vet about Max and this specific issue? My dog will be 18 in May, and in December, she stopped sleeping in my bed. I was not going to take this lying dow...

Re: Dogswell-Reputable company?

They sell this brand in the Whole Foods in the Houston Area. Not that always implies great quality, but WF usually checks out their companies . . . This is just a general comment, I have no knowledge either way on this brand, I was researching it myself, because I liked (and my dog liked) the dried ...

Re: Pet Insurance

Please don't get freaked about this. It's a blessing that you have never had to use it. To me, it's a peace of mind thing. Knowing that I won't have to max out a credit card when one of my pups has to go to the vet. That is EXACTLY WHY I have my Pet Insurance (VPI). I do not want 5,000-10,000 $ to ...

Re: Pet Insurance

What I didnt like about VPI they won't cover anything that's considered heritary or congenital and they don't tell you what those things are until you submit your claim. OK, THIS SCARES ME. I have used VPI ZERO times, (I have had it for 5 years) I have the insurance for catastrophic events only....
