Second annual ODO Community Awards.
The following awards are intended to recognize the individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the community in the past year. These awards will take into consideration activity on and before October 31st, 2007. Individuals must be nominated based upon their activity.
Categories:
A. - Members
1. Funniest Member (most entertaining, funny personality - includes NDR forum)
2. Mentor of the Year (most helpful posts & advice - excludes NDR forum)
3. Community Spirit (contributed most to building and improving the community in the last year.)
4. Rookie of the Year (learned the most as a new member, became involved in dog-related activities due to ODO membership in the past year, etc.)
B. - Posts (posted on and before October 31st 2007)
1. Funniest Thread
2. Funniest Post
3. Most Valuable Thread
4. Most Valuable Post
Rules for Nominating:
1. Nominations must be made in private, through email. Please use "ODO Community Awards Nomination" as a subject line.
2. To nominate, you must have an account registered before September 2007. Nominees must have accounts registered before July 2007 (you can find this information in every member's profile) and be members in good standing. All registered members will be allowed to vote.
3. Only one nomination per person per category.
If you submit more than one in the same email, the first listed will be recognized.
If you submit more than one email, your most recent one will count as your nomination (yes, that means you can change your mind, until nominations close).
You do not have to nominate for every category. You may nominate for as many or as few categories as you like.
4. You can not nominate yourself, except for A.4 "Rookie of the Year". Administrators (Mordanna & Panther) are also exempt.
5. Each nomination must include
* the full Member Name for category A.
* a functional link or post number for category B., so I can actually locate them.
* a short explanation why you choose to nominate the person, thread or post.
* your forum member name (Display Name).
The nominees will be presented in a poll after December 15th.

I've been so busy I haven't been on ODO nearly enough. Anyway -
I would have to pick Mordanna as always being there to help, followed by the best people anywhere and you know who you are 
The funniest up to when I got the second dog and got so busy,
Nana, DogSouth and Ruffysdad
Perry and Marco's person is funny too and very helpful
Belated birthdays/anniversaries to all.
Also, kudos to those of you with more than one dog. I am amazed at those of you with many dogs. Two is kickin' my butt. Little Tess the Jack Russell (I don't know where they think there is any Beagle in there) is a typical high energy puppy and Sophie thinks she must be by her to monitor and adjust at all times. They are like two little kids.
Oh, and biggest kudos of all - people with dogs, kids, cats, etc.
