Kathleen No, I don't have a life! Registered: 05/02/05 Posts: 6066 Loc: California	We are going to Ventura today for a trial this weekend. Brenna's first Novice Standard and Open Jumpers. Echo has one Q left to get his MXJ. so hopefully that will happen. He has 4 left in Standard. My plan was to get his Masters titles last year in 16 inch. Then put him in Preferred this year at 12. Then he and Brenna could both be in Novice together and I wouldn't have to spend the entire day at a trial. Scarlett''s cancer changed that plan and we didn't do any more trialing in 2009. It is going to be a very long weekend but hopefully a fun one.

Kathleen No, I don't have a life! Registered: 05/02/05 Posts: 6066 Loc: California	Thanks. We did well. Echo got his MXJ with a beautiful jumpers run first thing Saturday morning. Brenna got an Open Jumpers leg and two Novice Standard legs. She was great. Never missed a single weave entry. It's funny we have been going to trials at this park since Brenna was 11 weeks old. There is a Skate board park right next door and I worried early on she might be effected. I took care to introduce her carefully and she was fine. This weekend the place was evil and she was pretty nervous. That is the reason we didn't Q both days in Open. Not because she didn't run well. But because I walked the course thinking I had a spooked dog that would need to stay close. She was totally different once she started working and my plan did not owrk with the super fast dog I had out there. Mind you I'm not complaining, but I thought it was funny.
