Khyan and Chloe need a new forever-home. Their human parents are divorcing and apparently neither can keep these sweet mixed breed dogs (I think they are Chow/Shepherd mix). They are about 4 years old and get along very well with each other and cats in the home but they need some serious help with socialization with other dogs (they are fearful but not aggressive) and have not been taught to walk on a leash. They have been kept in a large yard, are not destructive and are best of friends, so it would be nice if they could stay together. No known health problems. Please share the pics/info with your dog-people friends and PM me if you want more info or would like to visit with these sweet siblings.

Time is getting short for these two - ANYONE have any ideas?? The rescues I have contacted are overwhelmed with dogs from foreclosures... I have room for them in our side yard for maybe a couple days.... I can't bear to see them going to the pound. It will definitely be the end of our relationship with their humans.... Any thoughts?

What about rescues in other states? I don't know if that's feasible though . . . I'll keep my fingers crossed for them!

I'm not sure, Catherine -- the rescues I've called are overwhelmed and since these dogs are *CURRENTLY* safe, they aren't interested... I am re-distributing the email - please forward to anyone in the area that you know!!!
