Ho hummm...shuffles feet.

Chiefy apparently likes to make me eat my words. Apparently he has matured and things are really clicking.

We revisited the sheep today...and my young man was apparently plotting ways to make me eat my words. His flanking was nice..he was reading his stock nicely...he was controlled....his fetching was honest.

Still taking it all easy and not expecting much...which might be the way to go.

Jamba did some really nice work for a young dog and one that was working in a new area with sheep that were extremely light!!
These sheep surely didn't trust me and to start a new dog on extremely light sheep that thought the human was scarrrryyy...was interesting.

But overall, the little bugger taught me a lesson today...once again....

I will try to get photos one of these times. I think all our pushing goaties here and there might have helped. ???

Sometimes working goats or cattle will give a dog a bit more push and a bit more confidence, so yeap, probably made a difference. I can tell a huge difference in Nick when we've been working cattle and then go to sheep... I usually have to dial back the push a tad.
