This weekend we ran Stomper in another trial. This time it was a two day trial...we usually only do one for various reasons so this two day thing was new and we were curious about how she would do on day two. Plus our friend was the judge...meaning there was a high chance all of her runs would be blown when in his ring. Chiefy didn't run in his ring...thankfully or it would have been over the second we took his collar off. Chiefy loves T. Anyhow...Stomper ran beautifully...and very clean. She obviously love agility. Other than her looking for me over her should while T had her on the start line and her one NQ was when she freaked and lost sight of me and ran/zoomed and took extra jumps while looking for me. We worked on this with Jo Sermon yesterday. Good things...very good things. A good way to end Stomper's birthday month. It only took 5 years for her to mature.

Wow, 7 out of 8 is amazing! Stomper is a rock star! (Good work you and T too, of course.) After watching my first agility trial this spring, I'm even more impressed by what you agility folks accomplish with your dogs.

Thanks guys. Stomper says thank you. Chiefy wants me to say he Q'd in one of his 2 runs. He spent the NQ run visiting everyone from the judge to the pole setters. The judge said he had a great run up till his last four obstacles...then the silly zoomies set in and he decided that woman sitting in the chair was someone he thought he knew. She looked just like her but wasn't her. So the he then ran over to the judge and jumped on him and pawed at him. Thank goodness he didn't bark at him. The womem giggling at the score table were the next people he visited...they were laughing with him so of course he had to go visit em. At least he was happy! We asked Jo Sermon about this and she said if he was happy and not stressed be happy your dog WANTS to see people. Celebrate he thinks agility is fun. I know I know...this little guy used to be super shy. Now he is very 'unshy'. (at least it wasn't as bad as him visiting the judges at the herding trial that were eating... ) thanks guys.
