Has anyone ever taken a seminar from Ali Brown (Scaredy Dog)? There's one that is for reactive dog owners in Santa Barbara on an evening I can attend at a price I can afford.

Just wondering if anyone knew anything about her in person, if it would be worth it.

This is from the e-mail I got:

"This seminar is geared towards anyone who owns a reactive dog and is looking for effective and20humane techniques on how to deal with this often challenging behavior. This is also a great seminar for instructors of group classes or trainers that offer private lessons on how to work with reactive dogs. Shelter or rescue group workers can benefit from the techniques utilized in this Scaredy Dog! presentation. "

Thanks!

I did chicken camp with her last December and I really liked her. She's no nonsense so I don't think she'll sugar coat anything, but she knows her stuff. I think it would be worth the money, IMO. Granted, I haven't heard her speak formally, just the discussions we had during lunch.

Ali was the judge at Goleta when Carnie and I had our first outing. She was really helpful and gave me a lot of pointers when we NQ'd. She will be judging again in Goleta in October.

I think Ali was Susan's (BorderMix) trainer, and she always had very good things to say about her. You might want to pop her a PM to find out more about her, her style, etc.

Well, DH shocked me and said "GO!" I thought I was going to have to talk him into it. So I guess I'll see if there are any spots left. Thanks, guys!
