As part of my Bringing Home Baby dog class, I'm writing an article on helping cats to adjust. I've written down my perspectives of keeping babies and cats happy together, but I'd love to hear any tips or suggestions anyone else has.

well, I've heard consistently don't let the cat sleep in the babies room for fear of the cat sleeping ON the baby and accidently suffocating it.

Oh, get the cat used to nail trims before baby comes home. You'll want nails nice and short, just in case. Also, possibly get them used to soft paws if you have a gnarly cat.
