....is hanging out on the dining room table.

Boy is working from home today, and caught her napping up there. Seriously--during the day she's allowed to choose from the people bed, her bed, and the big comfy couch. And she's sleeping on the Dining. Room. Table. ella?

I find it somewhat hilarious, even though it's really bad behavior. He found her up there again an hour later, just sitting up there chillin' like the freakazoid that she is.

Maybe she misses Captain too, and has to find new outlets for her mischeviousness.

I really shouldn't laugh, but I can't help it.

I think she and the Monster are talking on the phone. We close off that part of the house because he can't jump up on the table...loves to walk around and look out the window......makes me mad as a hornet. If you pull all the chairs away, will she be able to jump up on it from the floor?

Seriously, we've got to stop letting these two talk on the phone. Nothing good will come of it!

Ella has springs-for-legs, and can jump up onto anything under about 4 1/2ft high. gulp. The cats wander all over everything (grumble), and I think she's decided that so can she. She also spends time sitting on the back of the couch looking out the window, with the cats.

When I first got her, she used to try to hang out on my desk too. Dork.

I'm laughing because its not happening at my house. If it was MY table, I'd be livid! That's one of the reasons I can't ever live with a cat - I'm completely squicked by cats walking on food preparation/serving/eating surfaces no matter how well and often I clean. I don't know what I'd do about it if my dogs got up on the table but I'd have to do something or they'd be calling the men in the white coats to pick me up!

Fortunately for me, all that jumping is way too much effort for the lazy boys (though I did find Jack up on the back of the love seat, looking down over the stair railing when I came home yesterday. I totally freaked out that he might fall over the stairs!)

Ella is such a character! She's entertaining enough to have her own TV show or something. For that, I'd even start watching TV again!

If I don't push the dining room chairs close to the table, Kahlua will do his "table dance".

And she's got a new dining-table-related strangeness.

We had 2 friends over for dinner Friday, and ate at the table, like civilized people. Ella sat under the table (pretty normal). Everytime anyone put their hand into their lap, or at their side, she was instantly there licking it.

She got all four of us, multiple times. Even freaked me out, when I put my hand to rest in my lap, and it was suddenly being frantically licked.

'mmmm faint tastes of STEAK! and black beans with BACON!'

Well, at least she didn't get up ON the table during dinner!
