Hehe, i never thought it would happen but Marco is growing into a real show dog  Marco took Winners Dog and then Best of Opposite Sex at a show today, earning him his very first two points. He was magnificent - he moved well (yep he used all four feet this time) and he gave ears just when he had to. Giving ears is when dogs pick their ears up and look alert and sort of put together their whole expression for the judge, in case anyone is not familiar with the saying. For the longest time Marco refused to give ears and i learned that the trick is to... trick him into it. I ask him "what's there?" and "who's at the door?" and he's all 'who? where??' Anyway, it was a great surprise
