I think someone one here posted something about this a while back. I think for people that want the company of a pet but can't have one, or don't have the time to properly take care of a pet full time, this was a nice idea in theory. But as they say in the article the emotional upset for the dog is not worth it. I'm sure a shelter near these people would be thrilled to have them come and play or walk the dogs.

Rent A Pet

Thanks for posting that..I put it on my blog...glad to see her business is "failing" and is gonna close up shop....it was one of the most stupid ideas yet....dogs are not like videos that you can rent and return. I would have been all for the dogs staying in one place and people paying to come and spend time with them until they found a forever home...aka, volunteer at a shelter if you want to spend time with an animal, kind of thing.

Hmmm- i wonder if we could rent our three the next time we go away!
