I saw this on the news last night. The dog is fine for those who might be afraid to open the link. This guy is the lowest of the low and I hope the judge gives him the maximum punishment.

That is crazy! Those dogs are beautiful and so sweet. I hope that this story will get them a home and that the man is convicted of his crimes.

When I first started to watch this, I thought maybe the guy was looking for vicious dogs, wanting guard dogs maybe? But from hearing the whole thing it sounds like the guy was a nut job and figured out what he thought was a way to score some money off the city by attacking the poor dogs. They looked like absolute sweethearts, my heart aches for them. I hope this gets them some attention and they find a good home, hopefully together!!

On the bright side, the TV exposure will hopefully get those two sweet dogs a great home. So at least there's that.

That is soooo upsetting. I wish I could have been there to knee that guy in the groin. I think anyone who would hurt animals or children is an inferior life form.... Grrrrr!

It sounds to me like he wanted the dogs to attack him so he could sue the city. I'm just glad what he did was discovered. I hope the publicity helps get those two dogs WONDERFUL forever homes.

If I were close to LA, or even visiting, I would have adopted any one of the wonderful rotties and rottie mixes that I see on that dog block every day. It's ripping my heart out...they all look like Stevie.....

Someday there is another rottie/dobie kinda dog in my life, that's for sure! I can't imagine the idiocy of that man.
