Hi all -

I finally transitioned Allie (GSD) and Murphy (chowrottweiller) from Canidae. They are both on Organix and Organix canned. This is probably not ideal for them but their stools are great, they love the food and I will wait awhile before I look into Wellness which is probably better for two large dogs.

However, they are so much better than they were on the Canidae. I took around 8 days to make the complete transition.

I'm glad you found something that's working for Allie and Murphy!

You know, Organix is a nice line of food, made from high quality ingredients. There's certainly nothing wrong with feeding it if your dogs do well on it!

I think I spoke too soon. Allie has started to act uncomfortable - unable to settle down - about 1-2 hours after I feed her. I always worry about bloat.

I am inclined to try yet another dry food. Eagle Pack is not available near me; Wellness is but not the Core formula - Petco is not carrying it, at least where I go; Allie had such a bad reaction to CN C&R that she was on an IV; Canidae was not working - Allie had an ear infection, Murphy had bald patches.

Therefore, I am looking again. Tomorrow, Sunday, I will check out some alternatives. Any opinions on Wellness Supermix or Large Breed.
