Anyone know Los Angeles Adoption Events I can Bring my Foster Dog to?

Just wondering if anyone might know of any "open" (a place any Rescue Organization can go to) adoption events in Los Angeles county/San Fernando Valley, etc... that I might bring my foster dog to, and share information about the Rescue I volunteer for. I'd love to let people meet her, and it would be nice to get more people involved in adopting.
Thanks for any information or suggestions!

That's a great idea Alissa. I want to add this link for a company that makes very nice customized vests: http://www.raspberryfield.com/

Oooooh that's a very good idea!!! I could probably just buy a regular dog vest at Target or Walmart, and take it to the mall and get the words embroidered on it (many malls have those embroidery kiosks where they embroider customized sentiments on shirts and hats).
Thanks for that. I think I may just go do that!!! And even if I decide not to foster any more (since I may be adopting a special needs dog, and two dogs are my limit), I could always donate the vest to a rescue or another foster parent....

A lot of Petcos/Pet Depots-all West Los Angeles (Kirby's, Judy's and Helen's) have dog adoptions on Sat/Sun. Try calling some in the area of interest and see if you can hook up with them.
Good luck!

Okay, maybe I'll try calling tomorrow and find out if it would be possible to bring some information about the rescue, photos of dogs in it, applications for prospective owners to mail-in if they are interested, and they could meet my foster.

Thanks!!! She's a total sweetie. Sooooo smart!!! Hopefully the right person or family will come along for her. I almost wrote the words "Are you my mother?" below the "Adopt Me," but I figured not everyone would get that it was from the Dr. Suess book. The story about the little bird seeking his mother, looking everywhere and asking, not finding her... and then eventually he does finally find her.
