Hi all! My shelter is hosting a HUGE adoption event this weekend. There will be tons of rescue groups and vendors as well as our own great animals there so if you're in the area come on down and say 'Hi'! and maybe leave with a kitten or two.  OC Super Adoption Event! Paige

What an event! We sent home 27 cats, (all kittens except one 1 year old cat) and 11 are on hold for surgery or a visitation. I don't know how the dogs fared yet but they did well from what I saw. It was crazy busy and lots of people and a lot of fun. I was a little bummed at the complete and total lack of interest in our adult cats but ya know what? Kittens need homes too! (and one of my ugly foster kittens got adopted! w00t! ) Hope to see some folks next year! (and for goodness sakes, come adopt a damn cat!  )

our group has 4 kittens, and they drive us BONKERS! i don't know how you do it all the time!

wow sounds great! I should have come out and said hello. I'd take a cat except for 1) Snoopy would eat it and 2) I'm horribly allergic. Great work on your part, though, and congrats to all the kitties with their new foreverhomes!
