While we only had one standard Q this weekend, just little things as usual Moms fault, although we will be working on rear crosses more this week, the big news is Echo nailed is Dog walk and A frame contact all three days!! Nailed them!! It was enough to make me cry. I'm hoping we have this under control now even though I know we will need to continue to work on them. I'm so happy, I was beginning to get a little worried he wouldn't b able to do it. Yay for Echo!!

yay for both of you!!

Did you do a little happy dance when he nailed them? I know I would have. smile
Rear crosses are fun to work on...almost as fun as weaves. ( I have turned into an agility junkie, huh?)

So much of my time has been going into contact training I'm afraid my handling has gotten a little rusty. I am very excited to get to work on handling again believe me. smile

I know what you mean. I spent alot of time lately working on jumping and crossing that this weekend at practice Jamba's weaves were okay but not as speedy as I wanted...but then again it was hot and the air was icky...poor guy.

Great job Kathleen and Echo! That's such great news. I know you've been struggling with this for a while.

I hear you about the handling mistakes. I made several costing us Q's this weekend, including crashing into a jump. I was so happy Whispy did her poles, I had a celebration then realized I forgot to cross and my teacher said she heard me go "Eeeep!" and down went the jump. I told Whispy that she Q'ed and her mom didn't Q!
