There was an ASCA trial this weekend at the place I do herding (Wind Song Stock dog training) Sunday and Monday. I generally just do ASCA for training since you can train in the ring. The jumpers is way fun though. No weaves and very fast flowing courses. This weekend Echo got his Elite jumpers title and had a great time. ASCA can be a little scary with Echo since the courses are pretty wide open compared to AKC and they make him a little crazy.
It was a fun weekend though and poor Brenna was a trooper. Since it was at a ranch there really wasn't much of a chance to let her run around and play. I took them to the beach after the trial yesterday but still it was a lot of holding still for a 5 month old Terv. I was saying when she finally gets to do something at a trial she is going to be shocked!
Echo did great though. What a gift this dog has been. Such an enthusiastic teacher for agility for me.
