Hey there! Is there anyone interested in doing a book exchange?

I'm looking for:

CLICK YOUR WAY TO RALLY OBEDIENCE by Pamela Dennison

or

CLICKER TRAINING FOR OBEDIENCE by Morgan Spector

I have a bunch of dog books, mostly beginner stuff, but I have Conquering Ring Nerves--that may be of interest. But feel free to ask and I'll let you know if I have it.

Also if you're possibly just interested in some literature I have some good books left over from college. I only kept the stuff I liked. I would recommend "Miss Lonely Hearts" or "Dersu Uzala"

Lemme know if you're interested.

Oh, Conquering Ring Nerves? I just made a post about that very issue. What did you think of the book? I'd love to borrow or trade you for it, but I don't know if I've got anything you want. I'll make a list when I get a chance to look through my stuff.

(Of course I'll give away my Jon Katz books to the first person who wants 'em! lol )

I'm going to look and see what I have too.

I've also probably got several non-dog books that I'd be up for trading!

Hey, i got my tax refund I bought the rally book so I'm down for trading anything!

This'll be fun! I have:

Conquering Ring Nerves
The other end of the leash
don't shoot the dog
click to calm
click for joy
the hidden life of dogs (TERRIBLE!)
a dog's life
how to speak dog
FIGHT!
culture clash
control unleashed
the virgil holland stock dog training book

And I have some literature too. Like I said, i really enjoyed Dersu Uzala, Miss Lonely Hearts, Girl with a Pearl Earring (nice, easy read), Dexter 1&2, City of Quartz (if you hate LA you'll hate it more) Red Harvest.

For a couple on the far out side: Seventeen by Kenzaburo Oe (i think that's how you spell it) and Toddler Hunting and Other Collected Stories by Kono Taeko. The taeko ones are disturbing but interesting.

I have some other stuff, but those are the ones that made the favorites list. If you're looking for something far out there, I'd go with the Japanese choices (but the books are in English). I really enjoyed Dersu Uzala--a lot. The author is compared as the Russian James Fenimore Cooper. It was made into a movie in the '60s I believe by Akira Kurosawa. It was a collaboration between Japan and Russia. I saw part of it, very good. Book is excellent.

Anyway, yeah...that's what I got!

I have Successful Obedience Handling - I'm not ready right now but I may be in the future. It written by Barbara Handler. All of my books are second hand. I also have Click to Calm - I prefer Morgan Spector's book better - Clicker Training for obediece. I also got Scaredy dog and Forcus not Fear by Ali Brown and Dogs are from Neptune by Jean Donaldson.
Let's talk in about a month. I should be through most of these by then
