We have a young male pb yellow lab--field style at the shelter. He was evaluated by a SAR organization and passed (with flying colors) their initial "drive" assessment. He failed, however, their hip xrays. They aren't bad, just not great. Certainly workable but they won't take ANY dysplasia. He needs a home that will utilize his drive and talent otherwise I suspect he will be in a cycle where he keeps ending up in shelters or worse, is stuck in a backyard and forgotten. Please, if you know anyone in the market, send them my way. We're willing to work with people. His name is Jayden and you can see him here: http://www.petharbor.com/detail.asp?ID=A...&where=type_DOGSerioulsy, if you know ANYONE PM me. Paige

He's sure a handsome fella. I hope he finds a suitable home.

How bad are his hips? If he has HD ....depending on the severity...would agility and flyball be a big concern with regards to the hips?
Obed dog..rally dog for sure?

What is the latest situation with this dog? Where is he located?
Have you looked into your local labrador specific rescue groups? Some golden retriever rescues will also help out labs.

I am working with a guy that is dying for a lab - he's a runner. He is in the process of finding a place that takes dogs so I am going to show him this guy. He also wants a bike buddy. Keep your fingers crossed.
