Okay, it's time for ODO's 2nd Gift Swap!

Here's a bit of how it goes...
I will have everyone send me their information. Once the deadline is over for joining, I will swap names so that everyone has someone to send a gift package to. You will receive the information of the person you're sending to via-PM.


Rules/Concerns

• I request that you've been an active ODO member for atleast 6 months. You must be over the age of 18. If you are not, please message me and we can discuss.
• Do NOT sign up unless you FULLY plan to send the items, no matter what person you receive.
• The swap is intended for the dogs - gifts for the humans are well appreciated and fine!
• Remember mail service can be a bit funky at times. Please check with customs as to if certain dog treats are allowed. Also, you may want to insure/track your package. If in the case your package gets lost in the mail, I request that you send another.
• Please do not sign up if you plan to change locations within the timeframe of the swap. You may not receive your package if you do!
• A price range to go by is $15-$25 worth in gifts. You may go over this if you wish!
• If you do not follow by these rules, fail to send a package, etc. you will not be allowed to participate in future swaps.

DEADLINES:
The deadline to sign up is Saturday, November 24th, 2007.
The deadline to send your package is Saturday, December 15th, 2007 (Aiming for a holiday swap!)
I request that you send your package in time of the deadline.
Please do not sign up if you cannot afford, want take the time, have no motivation to send, or do not agree with the rules and concerns.

Question... when do we get the name of who we'd be sending to? I am doing another swap and plan to do an online order asap but I am concerned it will be before I will get the name and wishes of my swap person here.

Well, Kay posted that the sign-up deadline is Saturday, November 24th, 2007, so I guess she will send out the names the next day, or shortly after that.

Speaking of online ordering - there is a front page for PlanetDog offering a promo code and 20% off first order from newly arranged website - I ordered a few extra items I felt any doggie would want as potentials for my gift swappee....

Sounds like you all are going to have great fun!! We don't meet the requirements but if someone backs out or there is some odd odd-numbered stuff, contact us for "third-string-gifters" - I'd love to give you ALL something for all the help we've been given here. We gave a small gift to local ASPCA last year but this year will be a bit more substantial and, hopefully, useful! Happy Holidays, everyone!
