I think that no matter what dog you give something to, if there's a pecking order the dogs will decide themselves what's who's.

Plus there's the dogs that figure "if I have it, its mine. if you have it, its mine. if I want it, its mine. If its lying over there its mine." Try telling them that something is for the other dog

i'm trying to make sure each dog has something that they prefer, but not assigning it - i'm sure they'll decide for themselves!

I got a note from one of my online orders that an item was backordered, delaying the shipment of the whole order. I just called them and asked them to ship what was available, not to hold up everything else, so I should be ready to mail out to my swap partner early next week. (And ftr, petguys.com was really great about not charging me additional shipping/handling to split the order...and they were very nice about it too. I've been very happy with their customer service).

Jack and the dogs of some friends made out like bandits with all the shopping I've been doing lately!

Looks like my SitStay order shipped to me yesterday, so hopefully my gift will go out first of next week. Shopping was fun; and the girls ended up with some new loot too!

Ughh, one of my orders says it's going to arrive on the 14th. Wha?! Jeez. I hope the other stuff arrives on time.

I was a total victim of "spending $100 to save on $6.50 shipping" nonsense. I know it's completely idiotic but I just can't help it! I'm so pissed to be one of those people for which this type of marketing crap is designed to mock. Ha!

Was/Is anyone else anxious/wigged out about whether or not your swappee would like the gift??? My swappee was incredibly flexible and not at *all* demanding, and it was still hard! ...Which made me very, very, very sorry for MY swap sender--I've been told what a pain in the ass I am to shop for, but I'm afraid I've made MP even more so!

me too! I saved a $5 dollar processing fee and the shipping was free. It was a combination of gift swap/unnecessary stuff for my guys/presents for people at work. I'm sure it'll totally be worth it...

I ordered on Monday, was promised that it'd be shipped the next day and I had to email them today to find out why it's not shipped. "Holiday back up" was their excuse... don't promise what you can't do, is what I say!! I hope it was shipped today otherwise it won't go out til Monday!!

My swappee's stuff is getting dropped off today at the 24/7 post office priority mail kiosk. Meaning they should get their's sometime this week.

I didn't put a note in it tho..who I am....uh oh...and I didn't put my name onthe return sender part...just cjs. I hope they figure out it is me.

I can't wait to see if they like what we bought and made.

I haven't even gone shopping yet! I know what I want to get, and some of it you don't get at a pet store.

Today is my stay-at-home day. Shopping will be MUCH saner tomorrow morning. Weekends are CA-RA-ZEE around town! Not only is everyone and their brother out there, but the roads are icy too. I'm going to go into town early tomorrow to get stuff. This is going to be FUN, I LOVE buying presents.

We got our box already! WOW, Robin, you're quick! We actually got it last week but I haven't had a chance to post photos (I've been very busy.) We've thoroughly enjoyed all of the gifts - they especially love the nubby multicolored toy.

i shipped mine out today! whoopee!!!

I just shipped mine out! The guy at the post office kept asking me if there were any firearms, alcohol, or perishable items in it and I had to tell him no about 3 times (I think he was completely zonked from the post office crowds). I told him it was a box full of dog toys and he got a big grin on his face.

I hope my swapee(s) like the gifts! It will be arriving in a kind of wacky box . . . (the suspense)!
